We believe we have an ethical responsibility to help your student find ways to stand out and showcase their strengths without doing the work for them. We will in no way write your student’s essay or fabricate information on their application. All essays and information submitted to colleges will be their own.
Step 1: Initial Consultation. This is where Emily will get to know you and discuss your application goals and plans. Emily spends most of this meeting identifying your strengths and which parts of your high school experiences to highlight.
Step 2: Timeline and Plan. Emily will work with your family’s busy schedule to set up a timeline and plan that will ensure all applications and essays are completed in a timely and efficient manner. A master schedule will be created to make sure you will never miss a deadline.
Step 3: Brainstorming. Each essay you write is a vital part of the admissions application. The essay is what shows the college who you are, what you will bring to an undergraduate campus, and why they should want you to attend their school. It is important to brainstorm ideas and themes that will tell a compelling and authentic story.
Step 4: Write, write, write! Each essay takes several drafts and this is the most intensive part of the application. You will receive constant feedback, idea sharing, and editing throughout the process. Our goal is to help you polish and enhance your essay in a way that ensures your story is being told with your voice.
Step 5: Application overview. This is the part where we make sure everything is together, completed, and looking its best before you hit the submit button. We want to make sure your application is as comprehensive and outstanding as possible. We make sure your application is highlighting how truly amazing you are as a candidate.
